GTML carried out the first part of an energy project in Hole municipality in July 2022. Four energy wells were drilled and collectors installed as planned.

The energy wells are drilled to a depth of 480 meters in sandstone, and a new type of collector is used to achieve a more efficient energy uptake from the energy wells.
The energy wells are placed under the planned buildings.

The energy central is under construction and will supply heat to the buildings before Christmas 2023.
